And how should I go about cutting it so it's comfortable to the arse?

I am re-covering my seat.

Also where can I buy the leatherette stuff to go over the top of it?

If recovering the seat if you get a chance why not get some of the gel pads for extra comfort.

If you want to see examples of his custom work they're usually at Rufforth auto jumble 1st Saturday of every month at, surprise, Rufforth, just north of York on the B1224 on the way out to Wetherby.
