Haha i just got my VFR 400 red white and blue, cant ride it without a license, end of the month should have one fingers crossed, im in luuurve haha. Just sold my cbr 125 and got this i cant wait to ride it sounds like a beast Very Happy

weight is about 160kg. top out at 135mph'ish if in good nick, engines pretty much bullet proof, gear driven cams hence the whiney sound wen reved, 0-60 bout 4.3 secs. They need proper rearsets once u start getin quick though as the standard pegs deck out very easily. lovely bikes Thumbs Up

ha, my bad.. Cheapskate £20 false speed reading GPS system FTW! Laughing

130mph is a safe approximation so we dont say 150 and he only gets 135 Wink , course, he wont be doing a 130mph will he now? Laughing

To be fair I've changed the gearing slightly, 2 more teeth on the rear sprocket gives it better acceleration and a slightly higher top speed as it'll easily redline in 6th now Smile

forgive me if im wrong but if uve got 2 more teeth on the rear ul get better low down acceleration but lower topend speed, ur speedo wont read so acurately now hence the 'redlining in 6th'
im pretty sure it will bring ur topspeed down despite the acceleration... i mite be wrong though

Common misconception. It will be lower geared, but if the bike does not redline in 6th originally then it is overgeared as standard. So slightly lower gearing can make the bike faster.

The bikes speedo does overread by 5% now, but the GPS speed doesn't lie - it's faster than a stock bike.
