Although the bottom picture is a different bike (same era though).

Hi

Suspect they want the pic of the real bike for doing a paint job or something that needs to be close. Race bike graphics are likely to be quite different when you look at them in detail.

Trying to remember the dates of the Skoal Bandit bikes. ~1987, or might be earlier. Let me know and I will crawl into the loft and see if I can find an old magazine with a picture in it.

Might also be worth sending an email to this guy:-

Venus.... I think you're going to have to give up soon.

I'm the person that Venus, has been trawling the Internet for. She told me she would find a pic of the bike easily within 24 hours (after I'd been searching for a few days).

You see, I've taken ownership of number 33 of 50, but it's looking a little sorry for itself.... in as much as most of it's missing. In an ideal world, I'd like to restore it, but it's looking more and more lkely that I'll be creating a streetfighter out of it (still be nice to get it in the correct colours, including a bellypan with the correct advertsising logos on it.)
