ive been reading through the posts for about an hour on exhausts, i have my money on the table, im not selling bike i like it and besides i couldnt get a racing bike(not a decent sized one anyway) so i am gonna stick with this one. anyways im buying an exhaust either next week or week after and wondering which one?.

also does anyone know where i can get a K and N air filter??

i know its pointless to my nsr but i think ill keep it until i have full unrestricted licence so i want to make it sound and look a little better

thanks for any replies

If you have any other tips on tuning please let me know (and dont say buy another bike, best way to tune or anything similar im sticking with this bike)

both pipes are nice, think someone brought one for his NSR earlier on in this forum.
I forget his name.
I would imagine the ARROW pipe is best, but its also most expensive.
I also think the jolly exaust is good. so both excellent pipes really.
Just depends on your budget.
Might require re-jetting

Nah, just louder...it basically amplifies the original sound, so "nyiiiin" becomes "NYIIIIN" Very Happy

ahhh the sweet annoying sound of the two stroke. how i love it.
(untill i get a big 4-stroke)
could drill holes in your exaust, obviously it will effect your bike.
Like fuck it up, but it might sound good. lol

Or even where the pipe reaches expansion Cut it stairght through there.
So the exaust becomes a 7cm diameter instead of 2.
Bet that would sound a little different.
Wonder what it would sound like....... Laughing

i like the annoying sound of my 2 stroke :p

I am looking at changing the pipe on mine next year, after doing my test Cool

I reckon it will sound better, and go faster Smile

Plus when I come to sell it, I can put the normal restricted exhaust back onto it Wink

i got a straight through end can on my nsr it sounds sweet, but too loud in town and coppers think im doin 80 when im doin 30!

if u drill holes in ur end can it wont make a difference to performance only make it louder and it wond fuk up ur bike....

if u ever read a two stroke workshop manual, it says that two stroke dont really need end cans and only need the chamber because thats where the back pressure is.. end cans are only there to make it quiter and they dont affect performance!

thats y on GP 2 stroke you see these midget end cans!!! because sound regualation is different to road!!

well, i would rather have a much much nicer sound, and not have to drill out the restrictors

i have been told by lots and lots of people, that bikes which have been re-restricted sell for less later Sad

just need more money now and to pass my test Laughing

no performance matters!! if i/or someone else was to shell out £150 for an exaust.
Dont see the point in paying for the exaust if it only makes it sound a lil better......

But i'm sure there would be improvements
