rubbish, what if someone hits you up the rear? it happens a lot, pulls out on you on you? there's a million and one accidents you could have that were not in the least bit your fault.

I don't ride like a nutter and I watch every single car pulling out etc.. until I crash i'll keep that as the reason I don't have accidents

apparantly the gixxer thou redlines at about 90 in first... and that's with a normal gerabox: race bikes like the rvf750 red line at about 90, but with close ratio gearboxes.

Exactly my point.

If its always YOUR fault, what is the driver of other veichle meant to say?

Yes, sometimes it is mixed blame. Normally, it is one persons fault alone.

No.

i have a friend who was riding home the other week and went round a tight bend with trees on either side, he was only going thirty but as he was coming towards the exit 2 novas where racing each other into the corner on both sides of the road, nowhere to go so he tried to swerve to got clipped on his right side knocking him off.

was that his fault because he was in the way of racing novas?

30 - 40 is unclutched wheely launch speed on the zx, it redlines at 65 in first :)

Mmmm, the old FZ does around 60 in first and the Bimota will manage about 80 in first. Gives you something to do when you are cruising along with the traffic at 50ish and you can just happily change down to first and back to top a few times

All the best

Hi

No, an old 1985/6 FZ750, now up to around 64000 miles.

All the best
