a co worker has expressed interest in my moped, i showed him it thoroughly and was honest about all the scratches and stuff, i told him 800 and he said he was happy to pay

you think this is a fair amount, obviously only the people who have seen my ped can reply usefully

bought for 2k but one of those package deals

on the bill the bike was valued at 1600 but insured for 2000

its done 9000km's

other peds are around the 1k mark, but most are nice cond

if he's not in a rush to buy it, it may be worth slinging an ad in Loot to see if you can get more, but if you're pretty happy with the offer then I would say go for it.

If he's not in a rush you could allways try telling him : 'someone else has offered me £900/1000 .. but can't get it for a month... if you up your offer a bit now it's yours'
Of course the mystery buyer would pull out a week later if he didn't want to pay more.
