Barracuda exhausts!

They look 'nice' when new but once rain has touched them, the sleeve becomes very weathered indeed and you'll never get that shine back. Smile Never seen such a diabolical finish. The carbon fibre can is probably alright though...but I wouldn't buy another anyway.

Fuel exhausts are supposed to be amazingly well build and the cans start at £99! Razz

Blue Flame seem a winner, they've got a massive offer on on their website - I can get a twin port steel oval high level for £204 Very Happy

I have a Blue Flame on the bandit and Fuel on the VFR400.

I prefer the tone and look of the blue flame but I dropped it zero speed and it crumpled like cheese. Never dropped the fuel!

Both seem to be made quite well, nice finish on both.

I've heard some reports of Blue Flame can's being a bit dodgy finish wise. I've had a Remus on the ZX6R and one on the Bandit12 (which reminds me, I really should get it back from Kickstart and give him standard one back) and the finish on both has been very good. They sound good too, not obnoxiously loud.

Hmm, I might give Fuel a try then over Blue Flame...

Dont fancy paying much more than £200 on a tube.

I've got a stainless micron high level on my 750. It sounds evil, you can tell it's a V4, it has that irregular burbling note at tickover like you get with V8 muscle cars.

If you can afford a high level one, it has the added advantage that you don't need to move it to get the back wheel on and off. I can drop my rear wheel in literally two minutes outside the tyre shop.

I also want

Solid Black DB Screen
HPS Bungs
Scottoiler
Power Commander
Genuine Honda Panniers/Topbox

So I'm going to need to prioritise Wink

Go for the Akrapovic. No other can for a Honda.

Remember panniers and high level cans may not go too well together, depending on how high level you get.

Mine doesn't get hot. The panniers can rest on it quite happily. This may say more about the speed with which the hot gas leaves the can than the latent heat capacity of the material it is constructed from.

Waiting til payday til I decide whether to get a fruity can or not now, I really fancy the Fuel... and for £135 it doesn't break the bank either (extra 30 for high level)

Got my 16,000 service due soon as well.
