Didn't two bike mag writers wreck two that belonged to the owners of MV ?

Sexy bikes. Love the sound they make.

That's why i wouldn't take one for a test ride, not with that price. Very Happy

Hard to think that you could buy several 1098's, what's so special about the above bike anyway, don't know much about MV's.

Do they sound similar to Ducati's?

The CC is not worth the premium over the F41000Rs, have seen one of these in person and there's not much to be desired.

Some of the internals have been tampered with, then there's the carbon body and so on. This bike's at least £30k overpriced imo.

Na nothing like one.

The one I heard sounded like a gix thou on roids.

They are an inline 4.

Would rather a 1098 with a Termignoni cans Drooling

Don't do out for me. How could someone justify 70K on a bike?

I do like the MV F4's personally, but, i could get one for roughly £12k, fair do's, not a brand spanker, but hey ho!

I'd never spend £70k for a bike like that.....!

You could buy TWO of those ducati WSB spec thingy RR's! Rolling Eyes

MV have never done anything for me either tbh. Come under the same category as Ducatti and Triumph in my book.

Not a fan of any.

So you're telling me the only difference between say a Bugatti Veyron and a Vauxhall Nova is in the badge?

From the point of view that they both have 4 wheels and get you from A 2 B yep..... Oh and one cost a hell of a lot more than the other.

At the end of the day both a cars and have their own marketplace.
But i do know which i would rather do it in... And it ain't the Nova

someone has loads of cash

likes bikes

cant take the cash with them when they die

either has no kids or doesnt want to give everything to the kids

so they want to enjoy their money and buy the most expensive bike there is (whatever it is)

Buy a gix, then spend the remaining £60 making it quicker, and see which performs best!

I think the watch that comes with the bike accounts for about £20k of the price lol.

For 70 grand you're getting a fantastic work of art that a) gives grown men the horn and the urge to fiddle with their part, b)when they do fiddle with their part, the jizz wipes clean off, and c) when everyone's done wanking you can take it out and raz round the countryside on it - all for just 70 grand!
Could the same be said for the Mona Lisa or Damien Hirst's Mother & Child Divided? I suppose you could cut a slot in Mona's mouth and use it as a glory hole, bumming a pickled cow may however take a little more geting used to. Either way you certainly couldn't raz round the countryside on either of them, so it's teh MV ftw!!
Thumbs Up

Not through the twisties, but that's more a horses for course debate.

I would be more tempted by the F4R 312 tbf. It's a bit cheaper too. Laughing

Same here. Wish I had my licence with me when I popped into a dealer last week that had one for demo rides.

All the best

Doubt they would let me borrow it for the weekend in about a week and a half. Woodbridge airfield. Could test it there.

All the best
