If it didnt start again, take the plug back out and warm it up until it dries off, then try it. (This worked on my bike once)

Running rich means you have too much oil (or not enough petrol) going into the engine

To fix it you have to play around with the carb - you need to find a manual on the net for that

wouldnt imagine the compression would be as good as it should be.
As fuel / air mix would be slightly off.
But then again scoots have variators to make up for it i supose. lol

Hi

Wet plug is a sign of running rich, which means too much fuel for the amount of air. Also a sign of too much oil. However, can also be caused by a plug of the wrong grade (plugs work over a narrow temp range, and outside that range they either fowl up if too cold or start to break down if too hot)

First thing to do is check the plug you have is the correct one for your bike

All the best

Keith

Before you alter things how long had you been running before taking the plug out. Run the bike normaly until fully warmed up, do this by riding it, when you get back from the ride just turn the engine off don't rev it.

Then let it cool a little remove the plug and examine it, it is black and oily you have a mixture problem.

Just running the engine without properly running under load will give you a wet plug as the carb settings are optmised for normal running under load.
