Laptop Problem

Hi.

Upon starting up my laptop it said that it advised me to 'Recalibrate the battery.'

So it analyzed the battery with the power on.

Then it said to switch the power off and let it analyze the battery running on its own.

15 mins or so later, the battery cuts out and the laptop turns off. The process has to restart when i reboot.

I can opt to ignore the calibration, but any ideas how to get round it???

replace the battery maybe?

if you skip the warning does the battery operate normally and last as long as it should?

check in the bios for battery warning options.

Ok ta for that.

I think the batteries mullered anyway, so i ordered a new laptop.

(The one i have is 6 years old).
