Hey everyone it's my first post, really like the site lots of knowledge here, I'm new to biking so prob be more questions than answers from me at the min...

My Dragstar 125 has a very flat battery, as in I left the lights on for 25hrs and the thing is dead. I push started it 6 or 7 times but didn't drive long enough to charge it, left it about a week and today when I push started it the thing is spitting and it won't drive properly. The engine maintenance light also has come on when I rev the bike enough to power the light. I was told that this is all battery related... would ye agree?

What else would make this light come on?

Is there a manual for my bike for sale or downloadable anywhere?

Sorry bout all the questions, hope I'll be able to help some of ye in future,
Cheers,
Mike

First thing I'd do is sort the battery one way or another, definitely.

yes as G said, get the battery sorted out first, then see what happens if anything about the maintenance light coming on.

i know with my bike when the battery is flat the oil light comes on even when theres a full tank of oil in there. sort out the battery the light doesnt come on.
