I know not all of you want a 600 but i have to do a piece of coursework on
the marketing of a particular product, i was not sure which bike to do but
i decided to do 600s as they are quite popular and are quite easy for what i need to do.

Basically i need to know which 600 out of the 3 you would choose and why ie price, top speed, looks

I know it is a bit of a hassle but i also need to know your age.

Thanks for any help you can give. I need as many people as possible so please tell me. Wink

Please dont tell me you like another bike as these is no help at all, Thanks again

I can't say really, i've ridden a ZX6 and CBR6 but not the GSXR.

If I was being sensible then I'd go for the ZX-6R

GSXR-6 for me, just coz its a bit more of an outright sports bike than the other 2.

The CBR is probably more of an all round bike, and the ZX6-R is very practical too.

Id take the gixer over any other 600 but you should have included an R6 aswell.

The gixer is the most complete 600, it has the strongest engine, best handling and in my honest opinion is the best looking of the 600s.

I agree the gixer is proberbly the best overall bike. But, I'd still choose the CBR6 coz of the colour schemes. It's all about personal preference really.

The engine is stronger than that in the ZX6 636?.

I bought a zx6r (and it's that, not zxr600 btw)...

I was orignally looking for an older model... ie 96-98 ish, as the zx was considered the best bike of the time (ie best engine, handling upto the gixxer 6 standard and decent comfort). In the end the new bikes we're realtivly a lot cheaper so I went for a year old one (Y reg) at only about £500 more than a several year old one.

Still... I wanted a bike that I could reasonably go a long distance on but that would still be able to be thrown abouut in the twisties.
Most of the 600s are actually very close in performance... once you've tweaked the suspension and given them all sticky rubber. It's only when you get them on a track that you'll able to tell serious differences and then you're still probably looking at no more than a coupla secs max in laptimes.

So, in order of importance to me:
Price
Performace
Comfort
Reliability etc
..
..
Looks

Edit: I'm 22 btw (not for long though, yes I know Crying or Very sad )

Personally, if it was to be my only means of transport, then I'd probably join the clones and plump for a CBR, or perhaps a blue ZX6 (Razz)...

...if I were to base it on looks, then I'd go for the Gixer...

I can't really give a particuarly valid view on the bikes' performance, as I've never actually ridden any of them...but to be honest, I doubt that I'd have the skill to use them to their full potential anyway...

Tin, I wouldn't go for a blue ZX6... a little bird tells me that they have massive dents in the frames Laughing
