They say a drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway is meant to be slow paced and relaxing. Bull sh*t Wink

Set off yesterday morning about 10, it was a late start but couldn't be bothered to do anything till I decided to go out on the bike.

Plan was simple follow the blue line till I found the twisties (which involved getting lost on the way home, my bad)

Oh well. Weather was nice, 35c out side and not a lot of humidity.

Most of the shots of the road were taken while moving on the bike with a fast shutter hence no blur on the road Wink

Well I lied, 2 hours in to the ride it decided to piss it down and I mean hard.

Took this while filling up. Water here never seems to drain off.

It dried up after about 20 mins.

This road goes on for miles like this and is intense the camber on some of the corners makes you feel like your gonna fall off the bike if you slow down Laughing

I was just up there Laughing

Where I got lost I was supposed to hit 221 south but ended up hitting 181 Laughing I blame taking a random pic of the signs then trying to ram the camera back in the bag.

Great day in total I done just over 400 miles and spent just over 30 bucks on petrol.

I'm not normally one to defend them but the people round there were ace.

Cars would pull over to let you pass on the twisties.

Maybe because if you wanna go south you go straight on, hence the forward arrow, but if you want to head north you take the next right turn hence the right arrow???
