Just had my insurence renewal quote come in.
And all i can say is wooofucking hoooo

Theyve quoted me at £238.14
Which is great as when i switched over for the last 4 months of my policy it was basicallt £140 for 4 months.
So i'm very pleased with this quote.
Becasue i was looking at £350 - £400 for a years insurence.
And for it to say "£238.14
Is just excellent. Laughing

Stephen: 1050 for Fully Comp on a new NSR isn't that bad...it's still a lot of money, but I was paying close to that for TPFT cover Confused

Scoot: I assume that's TPFT cover?...we also need to bear in mind that the bike is unfaired, and few years old...but it's still a very nice sum, considering your age...

ouch, I wouldn't wanna pay £1050 for a 125, I wouldn't wanna get fully comp at 17 either I mean you pay more in premiums on fully comp at that age than you would get back on a claim.

tin : AFAIK they are both NU7 (faired and unfaired, though they might add a weighting / be different in other schemes).

And that's a good price for TPO if he's <20

right... I'm 17, first bike, only got my CBT...

New NSR125, value £3,200

garaged etc etc etc. I live in middle of fucking nowhere... not pikey lands Laughing

£1050 was the best fully comp quote I got, and that was though some broker, and it is with AXA insurance (who dont go direct to public Sad )

I'm pleased with it, cos its a nice 125, plus, in 1 year, it is down to ~600-700 fully comp, and then about 400 in 2 years Cool

G mate. My insurance company said I could save up to £150 by removing the fairing. I think the NU groups are just a guide line nowadays. They must be, my bike is a lower group than the CBR4 but I pay over a 3rd more Sad

The CBR4 is a grey import, Zak, which means that spares availabilty/prices will not be as good as a UK 'Cat...
