Gorgous bike, not my choice of tank paint, but a sweet bike. How hard was it choping down the seat, looks wicked Id love to do that to mine.

Yeah know the paints a bit loud n nasty... but that's how I got her!
Have got another tank in the garage that I'm going to spray black over the winter - and replace it with in the spring.
Got to keep the stars n stripes tank though, as the bike's got a second back end to match see attached:

BSH feature bike – Issue 244. August 2004

Based on Californian Honda CBR900RRN
First registered in UK: 2000
Created and built by main dealer Honda engineer
Engine: stock Honda 893cc

Front End: Fireblade forks, wheel and brakes. Custom Front Brake Reservoir. Renthal bars. Yamaha R1 clocks – custom bracket. Custom small switchgear. Electrics under tank.

Rear End: Honda VFR750 swinging arm and wheel. Hugger mudguard. Stubby Viper under-seat can fitted to a section of pipe from a Renault Traffic van – needs to be heard to be believed!

Other bits: New Avon Azaro-ST tyres. Second Rear end option: Original subframe fits straight back on – and can be swapped back and forth as needed, with it’s own Powerflow twin exhaust system. Polised frame and everything else!

Was trying to sell her this summer - but we didn't seem to have one, and so she's still sat in my garage! Ah well, bring on the spring!
