there is a really funny clip in some film (cant remember which one) where you see him accelorating (sp) and then changing gears... a total of 8 times up.... Confused

The Fast the Furious got silly towards the end when Vin Diesel wheelied his Dodge-thing (or whatever it was) Laughing

The movie basically glorified NOS, rather than driving skill etc...oh well Very Happy

You can't just get a fast car by sticking NOS on it either. You need a supercharger and turbo's etc. It was ok but just got silly, and a bit predictable

and bollocks to NOS, you want the old 60's muscle cars, far better looking in my opinion, and they look superb

doesnt seem like any kind of choice there, unless you want your car to go "HHIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" when you change gear, all the max power boys seem to think thats cool, but it kinda looks and sounds ridiculous on a corsa or nova

I got the impression that The Fast and the Furious was trying to be a Point Break for 2000, but faile dmiserably Sad

.... thought most of it was pretty crap, but the ending was ridiculous IMHO.

Erm, you seem to be overestimating the power of stock bikes...AFAIK, a stock 'busa can do a 1/4 mile in just over 10 seconds...that's still fecking fast for about £8k worth of kit (compared with a £100k car), but let's not get too carried away, eh? Wink

According to BiKe the stock GSXR 750 does a 1/4 mile in 10.85 @ 134.2.
Stock Busa 10.44 @136.7. Add a few hundred quid and you have <10 sec and bloody cheaply.
