Hello All,
Looking to upgrade the home computer and I was wondering if mac would be the way to go? We use it mostly for word, XL, internet and the occasional game. Would it be possible to get some software that would allow me to run my existing PC programmes on a Mac?

Thoughts anyone??

Thanks in advance...

Yup you can run Windows under Bootcamp, its like having a windows PC too as they can be completely separate.

Being a Mac user myself i would thoroughly recommend them.

One you go Mac you never go back....

You will never get a straight answer.

Mac lovers will always say Macs are best, PC lovers will always say PCs are best. There are pros and cons to both, don't let anyone tell you differently.
If you are not sure, don't ask for opinions, go and try some out for yourself by either going to a shop and having a poke about or borrowing one.

Just remember, opinions are like arseholes.....

compatability = PC
reliability = MAC

games = PC
image/video editing = MAC

word processing = PC
general power = MAC as it makes more efficient use of resources

basically, windows is shit, but everything is compatable with it.
MAC is reliable and probably wont crash, but you may find difficulty running some programmes.
