Halo: Custom Edition

Now this Custom Edition is only available on the PC and only if you have the original CD of Halo Combat Evolved.

It was released by Micro$oft with a map maker so people could create maps amongst other things. Now it's been out for years and there's millions of custom maps. Some shit, some good and some extremely good. Some have modded weapons that really take the piss and some have new vehicles, new player skins or completely changed or enhanced.

I made that video about 2 years ago I think and I still have all the maps that were used in the video. Oh and skip the first part of the credits as I added a video at the end out of hesitation.
And yes, there is a bike (called the Bulldog) and it's fun to ride but don't expect it to handle like a bike.Was just wondering if anyone here plays Halo anymore on the PC or have even used Halo CE.

Could do with a game since I haven't played in a while.

play halo CE (PC) online on a regular basis, my mate (or myself) just sets up a server using our own connection and away we go.

also play halo online on a pretty regular basis aswell

Aha cool. Used to play with about 5 of my friends almost daily but now we barely play games but sometimes I feel like wanting to play online and just shoot people for fun or even look for new maps, new weapons and new vehicles.

Wish I could mod maps or anything Not enough patience to learn all the programming crap.

The Mongooses are fun too, but I kinda like the map that the bulldog is in as it has lots of jumps and you can easily wipe out tanks. Well you used to be able too...

Well custom Edition you can just download of many places for free as Microsoft released it for free. But you need the Halo CD to play it and the key code. And as far as I'm aware I haven't heard of anyone able to play Custom Edition with a cracked copy.

www.halomaps.org are good for maps and you can get Halo Custom Edition from there. And all the downloads are free
