Okay, okay, why, when I'm watching a DVD that comes with a CD, like a deluxe edition or what have you, the quality is quite lacking? Complete with graininess and tearing aplenty. But, when I'm watching a 'real' movie, such as Kill Bill, or V for Vendetta, the video quality is excellent, with no such tearing or graininess of any kind.
Obviously there's some kind of budget constraints on DVD's that aren't feature films, but what is it that causes the lack of quality? Compression software? I'm quite curious to know.
