Got a few quotes, and the bloke phoned up aswell.
All around £140 to £200 for a damn scratch.
Damn. Annoying yes!
What you think i should do claim or just pay him privatly....
I dont think i have any excess as i'm TPO.
Think if i had TPFT i would have a £200 excess. Ill have to get the
paper wrok out in a bit to check.

If yow wanna get a bigger bike do it privatley... you'll end up spending more on the insurance next year.

Alos: have the police been 'notified' if not.. it's best to leave it that way, thus you won't have to report you've beeen in an acciden to the insurance companies.

Yeah, that is unlucky mate Sad

But it kinda happens...I supposed that it's the equivalent of crashing, and having to buy new panels etc...Rolling Eyes

Settle it privately, and look forward to even lower premiums in the future Smile

yeh think its the best option, then the insurence company still think i'm a nice guy that way.
And no the police havent been informed. The guy i went into is also sending me through some of his quotes to.
So i think his being reasonable about it.
Its probably becasue he though "shit a fucking teenager , oh his gonna be a cunt" but i'm a nice guy so think thats why his not being evil with me.

don't listern to the mate! Tell the guy to f off Laughing It'll cost his insurance company £400 quid just to take you to court, so they won't bother for the sake of £150 quid scratch.

It's not worth the risk to be honest. It'll probably cost your insurance company more to provide legal defence than just pay up!!

Plus it is definately your fault, so you WILL loose. You will loose your ncb too. Just pay up.

Also they/you would have to inform the police about the accident (which you didn't, which is also a crime Confused)... so that's more added to your insurance.

Although what I said may be partially true Rolling Eyes I was only joking. Anna seems to have a good option. Pay up without loosing your NCB.

No, the police only have to be informed if there has been any injuries

However, you do have to stop after an accident and exchange details, irrespective of damage or fault.

All the best

If you pay privately make sure you get evidence off the guy saying you have actually paid, otherwise he may get greedy and try claiming more off your insurrance.
