If you had a list of email addresses used by spammers trying to register forums what would be you use for them.

Register them all on sites that are clearly going to send you lots of spam and let them spam each other all day every day.

if they are traceable ISPs then report them.

if they are scrap providers like hotmail etc then delete them.

75% of them are @mail.ru .

Amusing one is 4 attempts within 2 seconds from the same IP address with different email addresses.

None have managed to register.

i know someone who gets these 'give £2 to help such and such' flyers and the other 'you have won £x' things - signs each others addresses so they send each other stuff.

Basically the "give us £2 to help so and so" receives a "you have won £100" and they spam themselves Very Happy


I dont know exactly what i'd do with a list of spammers email addresses, I do know that I wouldnt send any emails from one that I use regularly as that'll only confirm that my email is live.

Nothing. There's nothing on the other end of them, so you can't really use them for anything.

You can, however, block every Russian IP address - a much more worthwhile solution. I dropped the entire APNIC address space in my deny list and t'interweb still works fine. Maybe I'll add Russia too...
