Very nice looking bike, those old school Suzukis have a big following Smile

Give us a bit of background, how long you've had her, mileage etc

I think they were known for the grunt if not the handling Mr. Green

Hi Geordie,

Cheers mate, only had this one since spring time. Took forever to find. Cant remember the mileage when I got it but was something like 12 or 13 I think.

Had never really been out in the rain. Really nice guy was selling it but one of the other guys showing interest was going to streetfighter it.. so I had to bite his hand off....

It has awesome power and the world does go backwards at 8,000 rpm and onwards.. I guess it is a proper muscle bike but have not ridden a modern gixer thou so have little to compare it to.

To me it handles like i dream but does demand your full attention clamping your outside leg and arm to the tank make handling so much more perfect, but that could be me teaching you dudes to suck eggs, its just i recon modern ones dont demand that much commitment to make them handle at their best.

Knee down is not too bad but on the private road, i find it difficult to wheelie in first just using the throttle so working on that. even goign up to 10 then off then on full power all the way up and she just wont, can obviously do it by popping the clutch but dont like that method. Too chicken.

Hope thats of some interest.. If anyone fancy s al blast sometime let me know.
