I recently purchased an 88' with 11,6xxKms for $1600US. I can't find any owners in N.America, beside the fellow who sold me the bike, who imported two. Very Happy

Did you buy this one on eBay? I noticed one on the canadian eBay the other day when I was looking around for parts and accessories. I ride one, but I'm in the UK Thumbs Up

Yes! I bought the bike that was on ebay last Friday. In the '80s-'90s I saw NSR's in Euro and UK bike magazines and wished they were sold in Canada. The seller had the bike listed on some online ad sites like kijiji.com back in May-June, but the asking price was $2,300Cdn. Turns out the Seller imports and sells grey-market imports:

And he's started ebaying bikes to make space for more inventory and expose a bigger market to to the bikes he's importing. How do you like you NSR?

I absolutely love it. My friend bought a brand new YBR (One of the supposed best learner bikes) but it doesn't lay a finger on the NSR. It is more comfortable, easier gear change, better steering and better acceleration. Smile

I test rode a new CBR125R and I found it a decent ride, but it really could use some 2-stroke torque. When the opportunity came to buy a rare-bird like a Japanese limited edition, Italian made Honda I had to jump.

How much would the CBR have been to buy in comparison to the NSR?

Right off the showroom floor they are $4,400. You can find used bikes for $4,000-$3,300. 2007 is the first year Honda has sold the CBR in Canada.
