Ok, so my tongue I had done years ago but took it out, then got it repierced in September last year.

Apart from my ear lobe I've done the rest of mine myself at various stages throughout the year. Thank God for piercing guns

Speaking from experience, surface piercings hurt like fuck and get infected VERY easily. Unless you like leaking fluids everywhere and having to clean the fucking thing daily to get rid of the goop, I wouldn't bother.

Having said that, that one does look like it's healed reasonably well.

I used to have both ears and my eyebrow pierced, but I'm hole-free right now...the temptation to get more is strong though

Lol, the back ones are called corset piercings. Yeah they do look sore and probably would reject after a while but it does look mental. Cost her £170 quid so if anyone wants to start a new piercing fund for me I'd be more than happy

I had a surface piercing on my wrist for 6 months and it never healed properly. I tried everything and it was just minging. So I had to take it out. I really wouldn't reccomend it, they take a huge amount of care to heal properly.

Good luck if you do decide to, though - I like the look of them when they're properly healed (although many people don't!)

Belly ring - pregnancy see's bye bye to that and well, its a bit young for me now.

Ear rings went well before that due to the frequency I was putting a full face skydive helmet on and off at weekends! That and the lady that did it, did it so badly, I could never get anything in one ear without hurting.

Eww no - back piercings - no no no !

Like eyebrow piercings myslef - look v good one some people.

There was a guy in my college class who had his belly button pierced. Correct me if I'm wrong, but surely thats a 'girls only' thing?

P.s. the back piercings are rank. If you have any sense you won't do it. They will only make you less attractive.

And don't say ''I don't care what other people think because I'm doing it for myself'' ...because you wont even be able to see them!

But yeah you know... the choice is yours!

Ooh ooh ooh me me my turn!

My first three sets were in my earlobes, although I only have studs in the bottom two sets of those 'cos I had a little accident a few years back and mashed my right ear up a bit and can't wear an earring in the top hole any more...

I pierced my (own) nose when I was 16, and I wear a teeny twinkly crystal in it; I had my belly-button pierced about 10 years ago, my tragus done about 4 years ago (brutally painful, and took 9 months to heal) and my tongue done about 3 years ago. My last 'pet' was my bottom lip, in February this year.

At 28, I figure I might be getting a bit too old for all this...

Piercings rule, well them and tattoos equally . Corset piercings are well nice! Did they put in the material for a photo etc aswell?
You seen some of the ones they've done on bmezine? They look amazing!

My favourite piercing for the pain rush was my septum. I wear nothing in mine but as the hole is quite big I occasionaly poke a welding rod through it to freak the kids at school.

For me the rush of having a piercing was nothing to do with the pain (infact I'd even go so far as to say that all my piercings except one, the surface bar, were pretty much painless).

I am actually quite a squeamish person, and I hate needles, so for me the buzz is all about pushing my limits.
