I am bored of only goin 30 mph and thinking about deristricting my Aprilia RS50.
I know a place that will do it for me.
Just wondering what happens if you get caught with it deristricted and how can you get caught aswell?

Chances of you getting caught are near to zero, but you can get caught which is something to realise, which means a ban i think, or a similar very harsh and heavy penalty.
I de-restricted mine and no ones ever said anything, was even following a copper doing 50mph on a dual carriage way, i don't think anyone really cares tbh.
imho i think you'll be safer de-restricting it.

I agree you may be a bit safer (especially going a bit fater on bigger roads). But watch out for going over 30-35 in built up areas, remember, that is not just illegal for you.
