i bought a scooter 2 weeks ago and it had nt been run in 3 years and would like 2 know wot i causeing it to smoke alot cheer

Common problem after being sit for yonks. Cold starts also causes it smoke, all bikes do it on cold mornings e.t.c. Have you tried changing your oil?

Also could i add, what colour smoke is it?

it blue colour of smoke it an aprilia sr50

It's a 2-stroke. It smokes because it doesn't burn pure petrol but a mix of 2-stroke oil and petrol, this provides the lubrication in place of a sump so there is no oil to change.

Remember you need to keep topping up the oil and if you don't you will destroy your engine.
