Any one have any better pics.

It looks like a damn CBR/1098/meets k5 headlight. But I do like it.

And oh god the exhaust looks like a fat version of the k5/6 1000.

I love the looks I really do.

But the can would be a Yoshi job straight out the show room.

I mean most of us loose the stock anyways.

Its all this EU bollocks that the exhausts look like this cause of all the emissions crap.

118 rw bhp? Sorry to sound cocky, but you mean that as the 600cc specification right? Damn good power that. ny info on weight, under 165kg mark? Smile

I personally love it, and have every single gixxer shape (K4/5 being my favourite), it's just that unfortunately, like most new bikes today, manufacturer's seem to have lost that bit more creative spark with their designs, meaning they end up only marginally different year to year (ie K7/k8).

Yeah I don't like the exhausts much, and you're right about the reasoning behind it, but I think it's a good thing that they're "crap" because it means buyer's will become a bit more unique with slightly different exhausts to others (depending on their choice - Yoshi, Akro, Scorpion etc) with the same bike, and find which suites them best, compared to having it out the shop with a quality exhuast that doesn't need changing, meaning everyone's the same!

cheers for the pic, Trist. Thumbs Up

Actually the fairings though they share a similar shape to the last are reworked and the head light is completely different.

Mind you all he 08 bikes are shaping up to look the same.

But when its released I think it will be like the k6 shape people will love it as time goes on. Its like the concept pics I hated then after seeing one and riding it I liked it.

Still thinking an old school gix for a project though

Looks identical to last years save for the exhaust and headlights.

I'm not expecting any real change till the K9 comes out i reckon.

I prefer the front end to the current model, but it's still no improvement over the K4s.

The K9's meant to be a right dog.

Personally I think it looks amazing, I do however think it's a bit early to be reshaping the bike already as I thought the K6 looked awesome as it was, I can't really complain though, it's better they remodel the bikes too early rather than too late... Thumbs Up

The white one looks a bit like a silver SV650S with fairing lowers if you squint.
