I finally got the NSR back after the near fatal gearbox failure. Managed to get my hands on a newly rebuilt engine and gearbox, 3000 miles on the gearbox and nothing at all on the engine. (Sorry evo) When went to pick up the bike i was handed the old engine and gearbox. Engine was fine, nothing to worry, so no end of spares. But the gearbox........ This is what happens when the past owner run it without any bloody oil.Evil or Very Mad Thanks! needless to say in all with honda doing the work it came to near £550. so not too bad.
