2002 (52) Honda City Fly 125 (CLR125)

I have owned this bike since early February, and since then it has been a brilliant little bike. I progressed from a 50cc scooter to this 125 and found it spot on for my needs; it taught me how to use gears and general road sense; a perfect learner legal bike with 16411 miles on the clock.

When I bought the bike it had a bit of damage, after purchasing we (me and my Dad) fixed it up and since then there has been no problems. We put a pair of second hand Renthal handle bars on and fitted some new indicators and it pasted its MOT (“Good as new-un” – MOT guy). I have also changed the oil every 1,250 miles as instructed by the owner’s manual and serviced various bits as they needed it.

The bike is also very economical with around 9 litres of fuel lasting 180miles! I still had a full 3 litres reserve left as well, a perfect commuter biker as well. The bike will easily keep up with traffic so this isn’t a problem. I recently went on a motorbike rally with my Dad, here I went on a ride out with 650/750 twins. The ride was a total of 150 miles of which I kept up with them most of the time.

I have also recently bought a new chain and sprocket set which has currently done less than 1500 miles and a new back tyre (Bridgestone Battlax BT45) which has also done under 1000 miles. The bike does have one of two scuffs in a few places, however nearly every second hand bike does.

I am selling this bike as I have recently passed my test and want to get a bigger bike and the sale of this bike will fund my new bike.
