Anyone around the Pontypridd/Cardiff area fancy keeping their eye out for a zx6r j2 yellow and black, registration is CN51 KSK seen being taken in a white ford transit reg number N671 VTV at 3pm today.

If you could keep an eye guys i would be grateful, i know theres not much chance of it turning up to be honest but i can only try.

Cheers

unlucky!
at least you know who took it/it can be found out.

get an address and it opens up a whole load of doors for personal vendettas.
hope you get it back/have TPFT insurance.

Yeah i got tpft insurance and although the reg checks out with the vehicle on dvla site theres no saying that its registered at the correct one. Also anyone got any ideas on how to get the address???

Forgot to say the Chassis number thing is:-

JKAZX600JJA041208.

the address is the place the vehicle is registered to so the numberplate would give all that info.
you need a friend in the police ideally Sad
but you'd be asking him to break the official secrets act which is worth his job and a prison sentence.
i dont know how you could find out alternatively.

Phone up the DVLA and tell them the van is parked across your driveway and for £2.50 you can find their address.

Before you go and burn their house down remember that the van is more than likely either cloned, or stolen.

Plus the small fact that it is very illegal and you would get butt f**ked if cought Smile

Aw scott666, i feel so sorry for you.

I was once told that for £3.50, the DVLA would tell you the registered keeper of any vehicle. And you have a very good reason for asking.

Slightly different i know, my mums brand new caravan was stolen, (cost £29,000) the theft was recorded on cctv, it was towed from their storage site by a white transit van, with false number plates!

Don't give up hoping, you may be lucky and get it back.

When my cbr125 got stolen i got it back but that was some little scrotes who just dumped it on a river bank, think this was slightly more than scrotes although they act on the same principle. I hope i get it back cos i love it to bits and have spent a smalle fortune on it but i doubt i will to be honest, probably already in bits as we speak.

i'd be out looking for it big time. Look around local garages/lock ups and put the word out amongst any local chavs you may know to see if anything comes back. Thieves are dumb and slip up if you push the right buttons.

I very stupid about Welsh traditions and lifestyle or what but in England if some pikey screws a bike you tell the cops and they sort it, even better if you have the reg of the vehicle they used to jack it with. Now that Wales has devolution it is not really up to people like me to lecture you lot on how to run your lives but try and learn from your former colonial masters, phone the plods.

Already done as soon as i was informed it had heppened, about 10 minutes after it actually had. Gonna ring tommorrow to try and get an update now because last time they recovered it and all that and i got charged £260 because they didnt tell me it had been recovered.

All i got left to do now is ring my insurance in the morning as they were closed by the time i could ring them today.

I'll keep a look out in Cardiff for ya Wink

For the van that is... Reckon it's highly unlikely you'll see your bike again if it's been taken in the back of a van as it's most likely gone to an illegal breakers, or at least been ringed. Rolling Eyes

I've got a note of the licence plates you gave on my phone. Thumbs Up
There's a coupla local second hand bike store near. I'll have a look in case someone tried to sell it on. You never know.

Have you got it on CCTV? If so, do you see the person(s) responsible in the vid? Post it on Youtube so the world can see. Someone might recognise them and shop the bastards!

Hope the c*nts get caught VERY soon. Twisted Evil Middle Finger

I've had my bike stolen twice, it's fucking horrible.

I feel like driving there for you to find the bastards. I cannot stand them. Do me a favour and when you find them, kick them in the fucking face from me.

The bastards make me sick, you can't have anything nowadays..they should fucking get a job.

I really hope you get it back. Check the scummy estates with a few friends, your biker gloves (to give them a face full of teflon) and a few baseball bats.

I know its unlikely ill see it again but its gotta be worth a try, and if the van reg helps anybody keep their bike because they recognise it then its definitely worth it, if you could keep an eye i would be grateful.

Also they make me sick aswell, this is the 2nd time in less than 12 months its happened now, once in newport and once in trefforest.

you can't say it's not likely you won't ever see it again.

Just try your best, go look on the shit estates and some of the quiet areas.

Never thought I would see my bike again, but it's in my kitchen now, after being taken twice..

good luck Thumbs Up

PS: How far is Cardiff from Hull (Grimsby)?

I'll keep an eye out around Cardiff for you too - I'm commuting and riding right across Cardiff on a daily basis
I could even stick a strip of masking tape to the tank and write the reg numbers on there so that it's easy to check while I'm riding

Good luck Thumbs Up Wink

Cheers daz that would be great mate. Gonna look round a couple of industrial estates later and see if theres anything dodgy but i got an exam first.

Hull is a fair distance from cardiff, wouldn put it past being up that far but i expect it is still fairly local. Thumbs Up
