Engine oil for 2001 blade

Ok, gonna give her an oil & filter change, i've always used castrol gps 10/40, But will castrol 10/30 be ok for it?

Wat would be the difference, i'm asking cause went onto halfords, and clicked on "what oil best for your bike" and the castrol gps power 10/30 came up.

Anyone used this instead of 10/40.

i use 10/40 in my fzr and it says to use 10/30 but cant find any, i'd stick with using what it says.

quality semi synthetic 10/40 will be fine, Halfrauds own brand in fact will do just fine.
