I should be getting a payout for my NSR soon and I'm torn between getting 250 gp bodywork and getting it sprayed or getting a 300cc kit for it.

The 300cc kit would easily give me over 70bhp just by bolting it on and the 250GP bikes look the nuts IMO.

I cant really justify doing both either. Wink

The sort of style I'm looking at i like this

And this is how it looks at the moment (appart from a few small cracks Wink )

300cc kit , wont be damaged if you come off like the fairings would.

Personally I'd go for the 300cc kit, as I ride a bike more for what it does, not how it looks.

As the old mantra goes;

'If it aint broke, dont fix it. Unless you can make it go faster.'

Fairings aren't gonna make it faster, and the current bodywork is a classic anyway.

MORE POWER!!!! Very Happy

Power... function over form. The appeal of your bike after all is the mad little power band, only makes sense to enhance it Smile

300 kit - the current Rothmans styling is perfectly of its time, and a few battle scars make it look cool.

Also if you did the GP bodykit then you'd have the looks without the performance. Like a kiddie in barry'ed up corsa.

Don't you dare get rid of the Rothmans bodywork. It's a classic in the making.. go for the engine Smile

I am leaning towards the 300 kit now because as people have said more power is better. Thumbs Up

I would feel guilty not having the Rothmans paint job and fairings as that's why I bought the bike in the 1st place
