i bought my new bike on sat n its just dawned on me that i done see any fuel indication to show your about to run out, anyone know if there is apart from running out of fuel or counting miles?

Alright mate, I also own a G2 and as far as I can tell its mile counting all the way. I try to refuel every 130ish miles but I believe it could be pushed to 140-150 if you are feeling brave enough.... My partner also owns a Ninja, a J2, and she does the same as there doesnt seem to be any indicator even on her slightly later model.

My friends CBR F is the same. hope that helps.

Just stick the fuel to 'ON' ride around until it cuts out, then turn to 'RES' and find a petrol station Smile but I used to do exactly as mrpiesxrayeyes on my G2, mainly because it was a bitch to switch from 'ON' to 'RES' on the bike because of the location of the tap.
