So, you get tagged for causing GBH during an assault, then breach your bail conditions, but you don't actually have to wear the tag because it 'looks silly', 'doesn't go with a skirt' and is 'really bulky and embarrassing'.

Cue loads of scrotes appealing against their tagging by saying that they prefer to wear skirts, so it'd be embarrassing having the tag. Or, in the case of Scottish scrotes, a kilt.

This could be sexual discrimination, as all women could now claim the same, so the only people tagged would be male. Blatantly unfair.

Its supposed to be degrading and embarrassing, its sort of like the modern day equivilant of the stocks.

That said it could I suppose be worn under trousers, and thus negate this effect.

People with tags should be made to wear speedos when outdoors, so they cant cover the tag with trousers, and are even more embarrassed by wearing the speedos Mr. Green

There was a bloke in the papers a few years ago who was Tagged, he still went out to partys/pub/clubs and what not and was never found out...

When they put the Tag on him he held his leg out, little did they realise the Tag was put on his False Leg, when the paper interviewed him him he said he did it for a laugh and couldn't beleive they'd done it and seeing as they never checked he carried on as normal by leaving his false leg in the house and putting on his spare one...
