360 controller for Windows

Okay, so I've got a white one. I want a black one. Problem is, as far as I know, they don't make a black one specifically for Windows. I've heard, however, that the controllers for the 360 work on the PC as well. I don't know anyone with a 360, so I can't test this myself.

My question is, do the controllers made for the 360 also work just as well on PC as the ones labeled "For Windows"?

With the controller you already have, i it the wireless one which has the dongle thing that plugs in to the pc?

If so a black wireless pad will work with that just the same as the white one does.

You can buy a little adaptor that allows you to use your wireless 360 controllers on your PC (I have one) and it works really well. It's a genuine Microsoft thing and it costs about £15
