Played 12 games, and in EVERY game got shot in the head Laughing

Head shots didn't count so just got used to looking through orange paint on the goggles.

I played AirSoft for the first time a few weeks ago... on Forestry Commission land in Matlock... like paintball but with plastic (biodegradable) ball bearings.

Some people take this thing really seriously! There were a load of ex-squaddie with their comms headsets and assault vests and even some oddball in his full WWII gear!

I got shot in the face a few times, was wearing protective glasses but one hit hurt so much I couldn't actually tell where I'd got hit - until the bump appeared! Saying that, it (apparently) doesn't hurt as much as paintball.

I was one of only two girlies that day, and I have to say... some of the lads don't behave as though they come across many girlies. Some berk made a big deal of shooting me in the chest. I asked him if he was single and he grinned like his luck was in. Not a bad place for a bit of totty-spotting mind you Very Happy

I'd definitely have another go, although I'll know what to expect next time.
