Sometimes when I start it the oil light comes on sometimes it doesn't. Every time it comes on when I have got to my destination I will check my oil level and theres always plenty in it. The battery is crap so no ignition lights come on and I'm kickstarting it while waiting to get my new battery. Not to sure if this is what is causing the problem. Can someone please enlighten me?

Mark

mabee a dodgy connection, or the oil is sloshing around in the container,
if it has plenty of oil in there i wouldnt worry too much, just don't let it run out of oil Very Happy

Yeah it's a 2 stroke. I won't let it run out. I will just keep checking it when the light comes on.

Thank you

Right well today I got a little bit of charge in my battery so when I turn my ignition on the oil light stays on. If i push it slightly to the right the oil light goes off but it is still in the same spot of the ignition. Could there be something wrong with my ignition that causes my oil light to come on? I topped my oil up today so I definately know it's not actually low on oil.

I'm really confused about it now.
