No, just smashed it to pieces. The 2 circles on the top are imprints of where the valves hit it. The rest of the piston disappeared. The con rod snapped just below the little end bearing

All the best

Erm... well it's called lack of oil Rolling Eyes My oil pipe had come loose off my carb and when it was pumping oil it wasn't all getting into the carb, up until the point where it wasn't getting in at all, and just pissing it all over the inside of my fairings Confused

The crankcase is "okay", took the head off and got most of the crap out using petrol and oil then swishing it around, but obviously there is gonna still be fragments of piston in there. Without splitting the crank there is no way I can get "all" of the crap out, however it should run for a while... long enough to get rid anyway. My main bearings may fuck up soon, and I know this isn't the best thing to do but I am gonna get rid of the bike once it's running and let someone else deal with the problems, they may get lucky and it may run fine for quite a long time, but I don't want to keep the bike coz I want a bigger bike, plus I can't rely on the bike anymore.

No damage to conrod/head, however I have got a very small crack near my exhaust bridge in the barrel, took ages to spot it, and to be honest I don't know how I did realise it was there, but with a lump of metal travelling up and down past it at 10,000 rpm it only needs a little nick to fuck up again.

122bhp yes, but like G means, it's not made at the top end of the rev range like 600cc sports bikes. Peak torque is reached at about 7,500rpm, whereas there isn't a deal happens on a 600 below that, well not much in comparison anyway Smile.
