Apparently some gay was 'bashing the bishop' in front of his chums in the bushes, the firemen shone a torch on them and got their 'cum-uppance'. (very droll I know)

While I agree at surface value it does appear to be a load of shit and the firemen seem to have been treated quite unfairly.

Although the article would appear to suggest the incident simply made their up line aware of some other misuse of the firetruck that is not related to the poofter humping scenario.
Perhaps they were meant to be somewhere else but were not.
There for they may not have had approved use of the truck in this situation.

So they were doing something they shouldn't have been doing or were somewhere they shouldn't have been and because they were fucking around they got busted.

if it is simply because of the original incident then I agree it is fucked
