i have my road bike but i am doing it up slowly. i am 17 and have a "restricted" bandit6.
Anyway getting to the point. i have put tl1000 forks on, bandit 12 hydraulic clutch, polished up the engine casings and have just give it a good clean. I was just wondering if you all think it looks tidy.
Tell me what you think. cheers
karl

Did those forks fit straight on or did you need to do some hacking and sawing to get them on?

i needed to push the stem out of the tl1000 and push the original bandit one back into the tl brace. wasnt too much hard work. took me and a friend about a day. what do you all think of a polished badit 12 swinging arm going in? to tacky or nice?
cheers
karl (using somebody elses account)

Those forks look cool!

The bandit 1200 swing arm looks cooler, and it quite easy to change over. For gods sake don't polish it though.

Powder coat it Smile

The front end suits it well, I'd polish the lip on the wheel though Thumbs Up

Think a b12 arm would look good as is (brushed alloy) as theyre a lot beefier Smile

If you've got the cash, I'd line up a b12/gsxr11 engine for it once the restrcition periods up Wink

That looks rather tasty that man, and your like, a year younger than me. Howd you afford it? I earn quite a lot, and couldnt afford to do that Sad mind you, just split with my bird of 3 years...reckon my money issues were solved that day Smile

On topic, looks fantastic mate. Im really getting into naked bikes now...its like a damn virus!

Its quite weird this thread...cos two of my best biking mates, one has a bandit 6, and the other has a TL1000...and I havent seen them in a while...what the hell did you do with them!?

Thumbs Up
