During my free time at work, i was practising my skillz on MS Paint since i have no 3D cad software installed nor photoshop to mock up what my bike ought to look like after the respray - in reality, it's nothing like it, but it was fun doing it. Shame paint aint as good as flash and such like or facebook drawing board - but you get the effect. More or less drawn from memory and i know i've ommited some details - downpipes etc, but have a go if anybody fancies touching it up for me. Problem with paint was that i didn't bother resizing since i only meant to do the tailcone, and now i wish i did the rear end too

ZX6R anybody?

No, teacher was afraid that i would stick them up my nose so i wasn't allowed it. i aint drawn/painted on a canvas/primed guitar in ages now -must be like 7 years?

EDIT, NOW WITH NORMAL SIZED WHEELS INSTEAD OF BALLOONS!!

WELL, Now i have actually finished the bike and my geometry is all off! I should have learnt more from engineering drawing lessons about free hand ellipses but evidentally i haven't. Would sir want a ZX6R with a squatted rear end and balloon tyres???

Have fun with the image - play about with the scheme. I might try a duke 1098 next time around.

IR l33t with MS paint. I think i'm going to have my crashed ninja done in the same colours as my 250 sans front numberboard and bellypan white. Having a black bike (need to get black alpinestars now DOH!) makes your bike say to the other bikes "grrr look at me, i have a mean looking willy, grrr!!" Which is the effect i want to achieve at meets. Unfortunately, i cannot stubby my micron exhaust cos it's a 1 piece with no external welds and rivets.

Well, i had another playabout and i've got a rough idea of how i want my bike to look. I know the metallic wine red gives a lustrious shine similar to the malboro ducati/ferrari reds, but metallic black and white with powdercoated/polished rims and mirror decals are on the cards i think. Sure it'll devalue the bike slightly, but come on, it's a 11-12 year old bike!

Yeah, i was planning to do a time lapse but the 6R took me about 2 days worth of lunch breaks and some other time to do. Sod the R1, tis all about my CBR
