Im bored of the NSR125, and therefore would anyone be interested (seriously) in swapping it for a sports 600.

It has 2,000 miles, on a '52 plate, loved and cared for. minor scuff on the exhaust, other than that is perfect.

Someone must want to Very Happy

Very much doubt you'd get £3000, especially at this time of year.
I think realistically you're looking at £2750 max... anymore and most people will just pay a bit more and get it privatley.

Oh yea... I got a 600 I probably *would* swap for an alright condition NSR Laughing

Actually none of that's the problem.

Fairing (got perfect condition side panels and better than new rear thanks to Vik)
A full race fairing can be got for a bit over £200, so the nose cone should be available for a maximum of £100... just get an enduro headlight.

Indicators are fuck all (I actualy got some, then let Alex used them on his new undertray)

This clutch has lasted over 1000milse so probably is due for a change Laughing .. but only £35 ish for a standaerd one

No.. the problem is the bloody great dent in the frame... I'm gonna get a frame place to give their opinion, then ebay it, or maybe just sort the headlights out and ride it (It seems to be structually sound).
I think it should only be about £150 to sort the frame, but will probably need to have the frame stripped... which is a fair bit of hassle which I really don't have the time for Sad.
If it can be done without stripping the frame I'll get it sorted whatever.

You're 17, done 2000miles of riding and you want a 600. Think you might wanna do a little more research before you sell your bike.

I know. Im not changing my bike overnight. Its gonna be at least feburary till I actually do anything. And what benefits does a 33bhp 400 have over a 33bhp 600? very little. However, once 2yrs are up, or you get fedup of the power, you have a fecking nice bike Very Happy

Restricitions...33bhp...
yeh right,, even if i brought a 400, 600 i wouldnt bother restricting it till i get caught and have to have it checked..
and why you ask me..?
Well for starters i'm on a derestricted 125. I'm ment to have that restricted
but hell i havent.
So it supose its just the same if i dont restrict a 400/600.
yes theres alot more power there to toy with...

But hell, you can get it done at a later date...

LOL @ the comparison! 400 around 30BHP diff between restricted and DR.
600 around 60-70BHP Diff.
NSR, about 5bhp diff Very Happy
I doubt anyone would actually swap a 600 for a 125 as it seems like a ummm downgrade to me. Just sell the thing and pray you dont get raped with insurance on a 600 (which you will).

The NSR does about 29bhp at the wheel i think when its full power. Read that somewhere. anyone able to verify/ correct this?

Raped by the insurance? I've already been raped by the insurance once!

Be sensible mate. Something like a CB500 is fast enough and cheapish to insure. Will keep up a 400 on a straight too
