Hi,

I had rear break pads fitted today because my brake didnt seem to work. (When i pulled the brake it didnt really stop the bike and made a squeeky noise) so i thought i might need new pads.

Got them fitted, and test the break, and was still pretty much the same.

Any idea what the problem is?

Glazed disc. Emory cloth the disc with some brake cleaner.

Feel your disc and check if there is a lip on the outer edge.If there is you
will need to let them wear in.
It could also be that you need to bleed it.

Paddy.
