Ok guys i have a ped, and as you probably guessed it won't start :S. And i don't have a clue why.

Basically i think the elec start has broke so i haven't been using that for ages, starting it with the kick. Went to it this morning kick... kick... wouldn't start, came back now and it still doesn't work.

Oils fine, petrol fine any other ideas?

All help appreciated thanks Smile

Jon

Don't think a moped will have a kill switch.

Have you tried holding the front/back brake while kicking it?

or while electric start. you have to do this to engage the ignition system.

Yeah, just presumed he knew about having the brakes on from having it working before.

How long did you kick it for?

Mine can sometimes be tempramental if I've left it for a few weeks or if I've only started it to move it around the yard (flooded or something?). It can take a few minutes of solid kicking to get it going sometimes.

Don't touch the throttle while you're kicking it over, either.

If that fails, check the spark plug.
