dunno, whos barry??
i say its worth changing the bulbs to leds any way, just for the amount of power you save, and the fact they will last for 10000 hours or more,

i prefer the blue look myself Very Happy

I'm pretty sure it's three, I think each of the instruments has their own led.

The Schematic shows 4, but then there is one for the oil light. So I'd say 3.

While we're on the LED subject, and you seem to know best about the NSR.

Are there any led lights available for the headlights/rear lights? Mine just don't seem bright enough. I'm currently using the standard ones that the bike came with.

you may have a problem there!
dont quote me on it but the electrics on an nsr are not powerfull enougth to run even 2 sets of led indicators let alone the rest

i fitted rear LED indicators then a week or so later front LEDs and they would only flash when i revved the engine as the battery wasnt powerfull enougth to run two sets?

i may be corrected but i believe this is the case!

how can you said twice stupidities ! do you know leds use about 1/100 of a classic bulb. i've replace all my dashboard , clocks lignting, even side lights and tail lights and i gain 40w on my total consumption . exemple the T5 wedge from dashboard are 20mA and a classic 1,7W are 140 mA
Cool

Cool

my FZR dash uses 9 or 8 bulbs in the dash Shocked think of all the energy i can use on my sparks and xenon headlights and have spare power! lots of it, thats one of the many reasons am changing to LED's and xenon headlights. Thumbs Up

all winker relay are built to work with a specific power . it can be 20,40 or special for leds . so you look which power is written on the relay and total power of bulbs on ONE SIDE must be the same + - 15% . leds need special relay , you will find those with the link i gave above
