YZF600R Thundercat Exhaust

just wondering if anyone knows if another link pipe for the exhaust can be used from a different model
im after a new can, and i cant seem to get hold of a link pipe to fix a new can too, unless i buy it as a full set.
i noticed that the r6's link pipe is verry similar, and wondered if that would fit, or anyone know what model would fit on my yzf600r, its on a 2003 model

any help would be great
