im planning to buy tickets for 2008 moto gp is assen, to see Toesland,

Where do I go to get these tickets ?
Do I have to get them in advance or can I get them on the day?

I think were going from Hull to Zebrugger, but when we get off the otherside i cant find directions to the circuit.

I should imagaine all hotels close by will be booked early in advance?

And last one, what do I need to know that will hopefully keep me safe while riding abroad, this is my first ride abroad, Ive only been riding since june, my boyfriend and his dad are also comming they have been to spain and france so know the wrong side of the road if theat makes sence.

Any wise help please. Confused

Thank you

When we went 5 or 6 years ago we just got tickets on the gate.

Local hotels do fill up quite quickly, but there's a lot of camp sites that are close with a good atmosphere.

Had you considered looking at a map, perhaps??

Riring on the continent is the same as riding here, apart from they use the other side of the road their service stations are better and they're more corteous to bikers.
Good luck!

You can buy them on the day, or order them here: https://www.tt-assen.com

Zeebrugge-Antwerp-Breda-Amersfoort-Assen, it's about 380 km's

It's not easy to find a hotel, because most of them will be booked. But there are several campinggrounds there.

Forget booking a hotel in Assen you wont get within 20 miles Confused also forget maps for getting to the track most roads in assen change for the race weekend, there is plenty of directonal markers on the day so it isnt hard to find the track.

Hundreds of people line the roads out of Assen after the race just to get a look at the 1,000s of bikes leaving, most waving and bearing huge grins Mr. Green

I Definetly plan on going again in 2008 Mr. Green

If it was me then I would book everything well in advance, that way you are all sorted out when it comes to the time. I've been to Assen and 'done' it all myself so I speak from experience.

Why are you planning on sailing from Hull to Zeebrugge, that will make it a long ride through Holland. You would be much better off sailing to either the Hook of Holland or Rotterdam instead.

One other good tip that I can give you is to make sure you attend the street party in Assen town centre on the friday night (remember that race day is always saturday in Holland), the street party is something NOT to be missed. Very Happy
