It was terrible when i was young when we didn't have an electric shower my brother would turn on the tap in the kitchen to make my shower go cold lol I let mine run for a bit and test it before i jump in.

actually to make it more clear, i turned the dial on (half way round), tested and adjusted accordingly, then washed, went to trun it off, twisted it the wrong way, but because there is a button that locks it in place when you turn it to scolding hot, i couldnt turn it back quickly enough, i had to push said button in but by this time my balls were on fire...
