just bought some bike throttle bodies for the rallye (CAR!)

well i made the decision

bike throttle bodies, with a megasquirt ecu. not sure what they are, look like BMW to me?

next on the list is a nice vicious cam

then all being sent away to corton miller to be set up.

hopefully looking at about 135/140bhp from a 1.3

the whole lot including the custom manifold+ecu with plug in connecters and mapping software comes to £600, looking at a cam at the minute for £300. then set up is another £200 so thats a fair chunk of my insurance payout gone hehe

Have you built the megasquirt & competed the initial setup? I read a fair bit about these in Performance Car a couple of years ago, but I haven't seen any evidence of their ease of use, or a significant shift towards them. I thought they were a fantastic idea at the time.

it has all been wired into a dummy rallye ECU, so all i have to do it plug it in.

megasquirt is awsome (budget way) if you know what your doing, very good for live mapping apparently i dont know enough about it myself, hence sending it away to a tuner.
