3 wheels on my wagon..

Driving along yesterday, went over a large sunken drain thing and next thing I know the van drops to the left and I'm sliding towards side of road..

Gets out and sees this ;

RAC van turns up, walks over and says umm I think you'll need a lorry mate, I'll go call one women on phone at RAC asks me if I have a spare wheel???

2 lorries later and I finally get it to a garage.

Happened at 1:30, rac and boarhunt garage turned up fairly quick. go me to the garage about 3:30ish.. I finally got home at 6pm after a 2 hour walk home!! with a heavy as fook tool bag and backpack

Heard back from garage today, looking at about £500 ish.. needs new wishbone, lower ball joint, inner cv joint and prop shaft thingy, brake lines and probably pads too... at the very least anyway, haven't been given a full breakdown or final price yet..

Starter motor went on sunday too and is now playing up randomly, so all in all rather expensive!

For your wishbone to go like that either the drain was very very deep or it was on its way out anyway. Goodjob it didnt come off at high speed!

Similar thing happened to my mate's Citroen van. But the RAC came and put the wheel back on and it was fine
